I secured alongside "Robin" at 1000 and was able

to epair all damage except one torpedo rail which had been Severed by a shell. In addition to landing craft and aircraft Japanese on wrecks in the harbour, were e also machine gunned.

The behaviour and courage of my crew throughout this action cannot be spoken of too highly. I consider the promptness with which my telegraphist G. Duckworth left his post of comparative safety to proceed under heavy fire to render assistance in the engine room worth of special commendation.

Lieutenant, H.K. 2.N.V.R.
